After just seven days, on Sunday, ive been hit by food poisoning after eating “Mutton Briyani + Pepsi” at one of the restaurants in Mysore (for the name of the restaurant). Thankfully, im able to recover to finish up PF(Programming Fundamentals) projects (Monday) and did well in PF exam the day after (Tuesday morning).
Alhamdulillah! until today, so far, almost everyone of us have been hit at least once by food poisoning (either from eating outside of campus, or eating at Floating Restaurant of Infosys).. LOLz!
Have u ever wonder why this kind of things happen?
Malaysian said, its bcoz their food and water are not clean enough.
But, Indian said, our stomach is adjusting to the foods here.
Who knows? Let’s hope we didn’t fall in the same hole twice. Ameen.
Thats all for now, we’ll meet again with more stories about my life at infosys, maybe not interesting to u guys, but it is interesting to me!

Final Year Project
Title: : A STUDY ON PROTOCOL DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION AND ANALYSIS. (Selective Repeat ARQ on NS2)
Year: 2008
Abstract:
NS-2 stands for Network Simulator version 2. It is and object oriented, discrete event
driven network simulator developed mainly for networking research activities. It is written in
C++ and OTcl. NS is primarily useful for simulating local and wide area network
This report covers on the literature review of communication protocol, Data-Link layer,
and Selective Repeat ARQ mechanism. On the development part, it employs the extended state
machine and pseudo code of the protocol. It focuses more on the development and
implementation of the Selective Repeat ARQ on NS-2. The performance study of the protocol
also is done accordingly. Comparison of performances of Selective Repeat ARQ against Go
Back N, and Stop and Wait protocol from several perspectives is also covered.
NS-2 is chosen due to its reliability, and since it is widely used in networking research.
We chose to run NS-2 on Linux as Linux is standard operating system to run NS-2 and because it
provides stable environment for execution of NS-2.

Yeah! i managed to get into infosys it training .. The training is provided by Infosys (www.infosys.com) in conjunction with MOHE…
Infosys is one of the biggest IT companies in India with more than 50,000 employees.
Thankfully, the program is fully sponsored by MOHE (government)..if not, i would not have the capacity (money) to be there.. the program will be participated by around 100 students (including around 10 lecturers)
My flight to bangalore, India will be on this Friday, May 16th 2008..and i’ll be back in Malaysia at the end of July 2008. I’ve put in the fast tract group due to some circumstances.

Alhamdulillah, i managed to passed all of my exam papers and final year projects as well. Later on, i’ll publish my final year project and my other projects (programming) during my campus day.
Today, i spent most of my times in IIUm to do ‘clearance’ for my graduation..
Finally, i managed to graduate from International Islamic University of Malaysia, Gombak; Majoring in Electronics-Computer and Information Engineering and above Minor Business Administration. I finished with CGPA 3.281 (Second Class Upper,.. i guess).. not bad for a person who managed completed the degree for only 3.5 years isnt it? (usually 4 years).

Alhamdulillah.. i hope all went well… hopefully i’ll never have to go to my university again to take any exam…

Tomorrow, Sunday, 6th April 2008 at 2.30pm would be my last final exam paper(it must be the last one)…
Discrete Mathematics is the subject..
i’ll have to survived this course with my very low carry marks…
17/60 is my carry marks..final consist of 40% of the total marks..
without taking into consideration of the (Ogif) graph, to survive i have to score 82/100 in final exam …
What do you think? Can i do it?
Will i survive?
Hopefully, i wont have to re-sit the paper…
